ADRIANNE'S PRIORITIES
EDUCATION
Adrianne believes all children deserve access to early childhood education, a quality K-12 eduction, and vocational and higher education. Adrianne will work to pass universal pre-school, expand Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) curriculum, and ensure our schools offer sex education that is comprehensive, LGBTQ+ inclusive, and focuses on consent and healthy relationships.
CLIMATE & ENVIRONMENT
Adrianne will work to ensure that Massachusetts achieves net-zero emissions by 2050. She will advocate for clean, reliable energy and jobs, and for greater access to recycling and safe disposal facilities for hazardous waste. She will also push for more investment in wind, solar, and other clean energy sources. Adrianne believes that everyone deserves access to clean air, water, and land, and to be safe from the threat of fire, flood, storm, and drought, specifically as it relates to the Merrimack River.
REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS
Adrianne believes in the right to choose when and whether or not to bear children. She will work to ensure access to full-spectrum pregnancy care for all - including contraception, abortion, miscarriage management, prenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, and lactation consulting.
MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Adrianne will work to expand access to mental health services for young people, including increased funding for community-based services, wraparound serices, and quality options at educational centers and state schools. She will work to ensure access to trained counselors, mental health professionals, and nurses in K-12 schools. Adrianne will also work to protect programs that affirm the rights of LGBTQ+ people, including gender-affirming care and related mental health services.
DOMESTIC & GUN VIOLENCE
Adrianne will work to implement strong intervention and child protection services, more preventative measures to address domestic abuse and sexual assault, and stronger laws against child abuse, domestic violence, elder abuse, sexual abuse, and abuse against those with disabilities, She will work to strengthen victims’ rights and victims’ advocacy services. Adrianne will also fight to prevent gun violence through universal background checks and a ban on assault weapons, high-capacity magazines, ghost guns, and 3D-printed guns.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Adrianne understands the need for improved roads and bridges in the district. She will work to bring Chapter 90 increases to the district, and ensure the safety of our bridges and the ability to provide safe egress in the event of an emergency.
JOBS & THE ECONOMY
Adrianne believes everyone deserves the dignity and opportunities that come with gainful employment. She wants to expand access to work certifications and retraining programs to help our workers thrive. As a small business owner, Adrianne understands their needs, and will provide support to the small businesses in our district. She will work to curb inflation and rising costs which impact families and small businesses the greatest.
